plex stopping

ok l had plex around for along time and been great , now all of a sudden it stop playing films or tv at about 98% and u cant ff to that point so you cant watch , l did think at first it was the server here but its doing the same on my home server to ,, any idea why its just started to happen ?

must be something going on your end too , wife was watching poirot se06e03 and stopped after 50 minutes ?

updated plex 2 hours ago , but was only using your overflow tv this time

ok , sods law with all the stuff she wanted to watch that , just tried on the pc and after 50mins its freezes so not my nowtv box ,, cheers

VM 120mb m8 , wifes watchin on android box on xbmc now

same thing happened on the 100 tv series earlier

give me 10 mins then try again plz

gd gd just had to change some server settings

cant believe it did the same again today 1hr30 min into another poirot , not sure how its my end but must be if no one else is havin problems , the plex box just wouldnt reload after the 1hr30 mark ? she watched the last 10 mins on the laptop and that worked ? , will have to try my plex on the android when l get a chance or the ruku box , but they have been faultless for ages

any ideas lads , uninstalled and installed again and the same .. havin the same problem as these [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Same problem for me on everything i play, it stops at random times, if i click back and or forward it will continue for a while then stop again.
Very frustrating.
Will uninstall plex and re-install see if that makes any difference.
But any guidance would be appreciated

No other internet problems at all.

Step 3: Enabling Developer Mode and Install Plex

First thing’s first, your need to download Plex to your PC. I’ve compiled the latest Plex for Roku from Github ready for use, which you can download here:

Download Plex 2.6.9 for NowTV Box

(If this version ever becomes out of date and I haven’t updated this post, just reply in this thread and I’ll compile the latest for you).

Download this file to your desktop, but don’t unzip it.

Next, grab your Now TV remote and press the following buttons in order, relatively quickly. If you fail once, just repeat and try again:

Home x3, Up x2, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right

All going well, you will be presented with the below screen:

Now TV - Enable Developer Mode


Write down the address which is shown, or take a picture (this is important!)

Next press ‘OK’ on the ‘Enable installer’ option presented and agree to the developer agreement that appears (you have to pretend to read it all, so just hold the down button until its fully scrolled and press ok). You will need to agree one final time on the pop up box and your NowTV box will restart.

Once it’s reloaded and back on the home screen fire up your web browser on your PC and go to the address which was shown to you earlier. If you got it correct, you will be presented with the below screen:

Select ‘Browse’ and select the zip file you downloaded earlier. Select install and all going well you will be presented with the below:

I changed from Chrome to Opera browser and went back to a windows 7 machine,
I just watched 4 episodes of Stargate SG1 without a hiccup..
So its either the browser or the OS ( for me )....and as its seems to be working OK , ill stick to using the service on my Win 7 Machine.

UPDATE...

Went back to win 8 ( as its my main Machine )
Opera browser....... not working
Chrome browser..... Playback stops intermittently
Internet Ex 11....... Perfect..... ( go figure )....IE 11 the worst browser ever ....
Firefox ....Haven't tried yet, will update again if or when i do
